With a background in Higher Education, Patrick “Pat” Moody has specialized with younger generations, including the Millenials for years. Having developed and utilizing student employee programs and “ambassadors,” Pat played a significant role in Dixie State College of Utah‘s 26 percent enrollment increase in 2009.
By integrating various marketing tools, Pat is able to mix events, social media, publications and branding to create long-term strategies which specifically target key markets – which is one reason he was selected to open the Las Vegas recruiting market for Dixie State College of Utah. His aptitude for flexibility allows him to present in front of large groups and help students one-on-one. His ability to resolve conflict and make those around him feel comfortable has resulted in increased diversity enrollment, as well as provided helpful guidance to potential students needing to resolve admissions problems.
Pat credits much of his humor and interpersonal abilities to growing up in Filmore, Utah, where he started his educational interaction in student government. He continued his love of working with the student body as an ambassador at Dixie State College of Utah and Utah State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication. He has since attended West Virginia University, where he is earning a Masters Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications.
Pat currently works for Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, and specializes in social media and the “Get Into Weber” campaign. He can oftentimes be heard speaking to large groups, giving marketing lessons and working for select clients.
